Congratulations GaharwarPhD#4 – Dr. David Chimene!
Graduate Student David Chimene from Dr. Gaharwar’s lab successfully defended his Ph.D thesis. David’s research focussed on developing Nanoengineered Ionic-Covalent Entanglement (NICE) bioink formulations which combine nanocomposite and ionic-covalent entanglement (ICE) hydrogel reinforcement mechanisms to print customizable cell-laden constructs for tissue engineering with high structural fidelity and mechanical stiffness.
